We are starting our visit in Johannesburg with tours of both Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift battlefields, followed by a tour of the exclusive tour of Summerhill Stud Farm located in the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal. Durban is our next stop for a few days relaxation along with a days racing at Greyville.

On arrival in Johannesburg you will be met and transferred to Hartford House (approx. 4-hour drive) for your 3 night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.
Tuesday 16 January
Today enjoy a visit of Summerhill Stud Farm followed lunch at Hartford House.
Wednesday 17 January
Today we shall explore the local area taking in craft workshops and farms. The afternoon is at leisure to relax.
Thursday 18 January
After breakfast you shall be transferred from Hartford House to Isandlwana Lodge (approx. 3-hour drive) for a 2 night stay on a full board basis.
Friday 19 January
Today, you will be taken on a tour of Isandlwana & Rorke’s Drift battlefields.
Saturday 20 January
Today, we shall travel to the Oyster Box in Umhlanga (approx. 4-hour drive) for a 3-night stay. Tonight, enjoy drinks with your host and fellow travellers.
Sunday 21 January
Racing in Durban! We shall visit Greyville* for an afternoons racing with hospitality.
Monday 22 January
Morning departure for a guided tour of the valley of 1000 hills, with lunch included.
Tuesday 23 January
You depart Durban at 10:45 on the BA6310, arriving into Cape Town at 12:55. On arrival in Cape Town you will be transferred to the Radisson Blu Cape Town for a 5 night stay on a bed and breakfast basis. The evening is at leisure.
Wednesday 24 January
Day at leisure to explore Cape Town. Why not explore Robben Island, Table Mountain or Cape Peninsula?
Thursday 25 January
Depart for Stellenbosch and Franschoek (approx. 1-hour drive) with lunch included at Lanzerac Wine Estate.
Friday 26 January
Your day is at leisure. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner with your hosts and fellow travellers.
Saturday 27 January
Mid-morning transfer to Kenilworth Racecourse for the Grade 1 Sun Met. We have reserved seating in the Kenilworth Room with all day buffet and open bar.

Saturday sees the running of Cape Town's biggest and best loved
race, the J & B Met. This race is the most popular in South
Africa and has become a major social event and Kenilworth
Racecourse is always packed to capacity. We shall be accommodated
in the well-appointed Kenilworth Room. A superb buffet lunch will
be on offer and there will be a complimentary bar
Cape Town lies in an incomparable setting between the Atlantic
Ocean and the majestic backdrop of Table Mountain. Cape Town, and
its surrounding countryside, has everything to offer the visitor; a
