We are delighted to offer 2 & 3 night packages to the 2017 Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at Chantilly. After a very successful meeting in 2016 we are delighted to be returning in 2017. This year, along with reserved spaces in the Main Grandstand we are also offering trackside hospitality.
The Arc weekend is the championship of European racing featuring 11 Group races over two days. The purse for the whole weekend of the “Arc” meeting in 2016 was €7.9 million, with €5.6 million being reserved for the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe itself.
The Arc last year…
2016 saw another first for the Arc with a 1-2-3 finish for Aiden O’Brien courtesy of Found, Highland Reel and Order Of St. George. This is the first time a trainer has sent out the first three home in the Arc’s 96 year history.

Chantilly Racecourse is located in the main horse training area of France on 65 hectares next to the Chantilly Forest. It is a right-handed course and it was built with interlocking tracks. The main course is 2,400 metres long, with another at 2,150 metres, plus a round course adaptable from 1,400 to 2,400 metres. The first race card at Chantilly was held on May 15th 1834 and its existing grandstand was built in 1879 by the famed architect Honore Daumet, who also did the renovations to the nearby Château de Chantilly.
Reserved Grandstand Seats
Due to our long standing relationship with France Galop we have managed to obtain a limited supply of seats in the Main Grandstand (the Tribune de l’Arrivee). The reserved, numbered, seats are located under cover and offer the ideal vantage point from which to view the racing. Aside from great viewing, these seats offer a central base for the day. The Paddock is situated directly behind the Main Grandstand and is easily accessible. In order to make your day more comfortable, we recommend that you purchase reserved grandstand seats when you make your travel reservations and we will only be selling these to clients utilising our travel arrangements. We expect that these seats will be in demand and as such we will be selling them on a first come first served basis. We anticipate that once the Pesage and Main Grandstand tickets have sold out, clients will be accommodated in the infield with no access to Grandstand/Paddock area. Hence we advise booking as early as possible.
Reserved Grandstand Seats (Tribune de l’Arrivee) - £200 per person - valid on both Saturday & Sunday.
Panoramic Restaurant - Saturday 30 September & Sunday 01 October
Subject to availability spaces in the Panoramic Restaurant on Saturday & Sunday can be secured. The package offers a 4 course meal including coffee and a reserved shared table for the day. Drinks can be bought from the cash bar. Betting facilities are available in the restaurant. Tables overlook either the track or the paddock, specific views cannot be guaranteed.
Panoramic Restaurant - Saturday - £190 per person.
Panoramic Restaurant - Sunday - £380 per person.
Restaurant des Pistes Hospitality - Sunday 01 October only
We are delighted to offer spaces in the Restaurant des Pistes situated in a marquee facility approximately 1 1/2 furlongs past the winning post. At your reserved table you will be served a 4-course meal with drinks available to buy from the cash bar. Within the marquee you have access to a private betting area and TV screens to keep abreast of the action. Due to the location of the restaurant you cannot watch the racing from the facility therefore, we advise exiting the Marquee and viewing from in front of the Grandstand, only a short walk away.
Brasserie des Pistes Hospitality - £300 per person.
In contrast to Longchamp, where we had our own Horse Racing Abroad Pavilion, facilities at Chantilly are limited; the only permanent grandstand at the course seats just over 2,000 people. Due to restraints on space at the racecourse, we cannot replicate our usual offering in terms of catering and bar services. As such, catering will be restricted to the facilities provided by the racecourse.
Chantilly is a beautiful racecourse situated in a rural area 30 miles north of Paris. On an average non race day the transfer time is approximately 1 hour, although on racedays we expect it to be substantially longer, a situation beyond our control. Therefore, please be prepared for a much longer transfer to and from the racecourse. Last year our coach park was located a 5 minute walk along the track to the main entrance, we envisage that this year will be the same.
Unfortunately we are unable to provide buggy assistance between the coach park and racecourse for those with reduced mobility.

Should you wish to travel to Paris by air please contact the

chosen hotel. As a guide, a taxi costs €60 each way or the RER
