Friday 20 January
Day at leisure. Use this opportunity to take a trip to Robben Island
where you can pay tribute to Nelson Mandela or peruse the jetties of
the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
Saturday 21 January
Day at Kenilworth Racecourse where we have reserved seating in
the Kenilworth or Somerset Room with all day buffet and open bar.
Return to the hotel after the races.

Monday 23 January
Morning departure for a day’s tour of the Cape Peninsula. Visit the
Cape of Good Hope, a penguin colony, and enjoy an excellent
seafood lunch. Evening at leisure.
Tuesday 24 January
Today we will head to the historic town of Stellenbosch, and stay at
the Lanzerac Estate where a Classic room has been reserved for 3
nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
Wednesday 25 January
Mid-morning departure from hotel to Klawervlei Stud in Stellenbosch
with lunch. Late afternoon return to the hotel.
Thursday 26 January
Today enjoy a private tour of the Stellenbosch, South Africa’s second
oldest town and a visit to the historical town of Franschoek, where
lunch will be included.
Friday 27 January
Mid-morning departure to the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront for 2
nights in a Standard room on a bed & breakfast basis. The remainder
of the day is at leisure.
Saturday 28 January
Mid-morning transfer to Kenilworth Racecourse for the Grade I J & B
Met. We have reserved seating in the Kenilworth Room with all day

Saturday sees the running of Cape Town’s biggest and best loved race, the J & B Met. This race is the most popular in South Africa and has become a major social event and Kenilworth Racecourse is always packed to capacity. We will have the pleasure to join other Klawervlei guests in the well-appointed private Kenilworth Room. A superb buffet lunch will be on offer and there will be a complimentary bar service. Klawervlei Stud is home to fourteen of South Africa’s top class stallions and is situated in the breathtakingly beautiful surroundings of Stellenbosch; a town best known for its vineyards.
